Andrea Barzagli, born in May 1981, started playing football when he was young. He was a grass-root footballer grown from a small city. When he was younger than 18 years old, he was taken as the main force to participate in immature league football games, and helped a team entering into Division D of Italy league. He was selected as a member of the Serie A Team four times, and he was regarded as one of the best football player and most consistent defenders of his generation.
In the early stage of his professional football playing career, he once played for many small football clubs in Italy. In 2003, he completed his debut with Chievo, and then he became the main force as playing with Palermo. In 2008, he moved to a German football club VfL Wolfsburg and stayed with the team for two and a half seasons, becoming the winner of Bundesliga title in 2009. After he went back to Italian club Juventus, he was a laureate of many honors and accolades, including Serie A titles in six times from 2012 to 2017.
In 2011, Barzagli signed a long-term professional contract with Italian Juventus for €300,000 fixed and €300,000 variable. He will stay with the Italian club Juventus until 2013 according to their contracts. For the adjustment of Juventus’s manager, Barzagli was taken as the inevitable part of Juventus defensive plan, cementing his position on the basis of his consistent performers and earning his next cap from Italy national football team. The excellent football team built up its overall strength in 2011-2012, ending with only 20 goals in 38 football match.
In 2012, Barzagli won his first Juventus’s goal in 2012, netting a penalty goal against Atlanta in the last match of the season. With his help, the football club ended with the 2011–12 scudetto undefeated and the the 2012 Supercoppa Italiana. In 2013, he participated 45 football matches for Juventus, winning his highest personal tally from the first season at Wolfsburg. Most goals were netted by three footballers, Leonardo Bonucci, Giorgio Chiellini and Barzagli in a 3-5-2 formation. For the sake of joint efforts of three-man, these three footballers were dubbed BBC. After a short time, the three football players build up themselves as the best football defensive team in the world in the following seasons.
In spite of his zero goal manuscript, Barzagli cut a striking figure in front of most people in a home football game against Roma in September 2012. In the 2013-14 season, he also played for Juventus, contributing his efforts with consistent performances on football pitch. For the sake of his severe injuries, Barzagli has performed an operation in Finland and been sidelined for three months.
After recovered from his severe injuries, he came back to the starting line-up in a friendly match. He earned his new cap for the football game against Fiorentina in the Coppa Italia. The guy played the next league match on 14, March 2015, helping Juventus to keep a clean sheet.
