"Art with a view" Enjoy the unique fusion of art work (poster/prints, original art pieces & photographs), with salvaged wood window frames and recycled fence wood. I update the store with new items each month so be sure to check back periodically to take a look at the new products. I have decided to charge a flat 10% shipping and handling fee for all items in my store. This will be added automatically when you click on the buy now button. " Apple Butter " by Ray Hendershot

Artist Bio:

Ray Hendershot (1931-) has been producing artwork in one form or another for the better part of his life. For some time, however, this work had to play second fiddle to his primary career in the ceramics industry where he held various positions, including engineering manager of new product development and senior principal scientist for American Olean Tile Company. During these years, Ray spent as much time as possible working on his art techniques and developing his painting style. Through participation in local art fairs and exhibitions, he was able to build a reputation and a demand for his work.

It was not until his retirement in 1991, however, that Ray was able to put his artwork first and achieve great exposure through national and international exhibitions and competitions. Since that time he has achieved numerous accomplishments, including signature membership status in the American Watercolor Society, The Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the National Acrylic Painters Association (based in Birmingham, England) and recent induction into the National Watercolor Society. He also was selected to be in the top one hundred artists of the National Parks’ "Arts for the Parks" competition. He has had many successful solo gallery shows, and is the author of Texture Techniques for Winning Watercolors (North Light Books).

This is the first image that I have used by Ray Hendershot. It has a great natural feel to it. I am very happy with my choice of a white weathered fence wood for its frame.

The frame measures 19.75"h x 29"w
The poster/print has been mounted on foam core and has had a laminate surface added for protective purposes.
